Assembly Line
As part of
the SAGE program fifth grade students at Woodside School in River Vale participated in a
problem solving activity to celebrate National Engineers’ Week. Students had to create an air-powered car
that would travel six feet with the fewest number of puffs. Students received three straws, four
Lifesaver candies, one sheet of paper, two paper clips, tape, and scissors in
order to construct their air-powered cars.
