Electricity

As part of the SAGE program at Woodside School fourth graders have been having an electrifying experience. Using materials that Mrs. Wolf purchased with a grant she received from the PTA, students have been able to expand upon their knowledge of electricity. They built lamp circuits, used a dry reed tube to turn on a fan, gained practical experience with series and parallel circuits, worked with diodes, resistors, and capacitors, and even created a circuit using a musical chip that played Happy Birthday.
