As part of our continued initiatives to improve our District, we are asking for your feedback on the most recent elementary Back To School Nights. We encourage you to include your ideas and suggestions as well. Parents are an extremely important part of our school community and your opinion does make a difference!
Our annual Pinwheels for Peace SAGE whole school enrichment program encourages students to be kind, not bully, cooperate, be a friend and more. All classes created and “planted” large pinwheels and hundreds of students made and “planted” individual ones as well. After submitting their ideas, approximately 40 students were selected to read their thoughts on peace. We ended with a message from a third grade student to be kind to everyone by your side. Roberge School is a caring community. For more details please check the SAGE website.
River Vale Schools, along with over 28,000 volunteers in 14 other states will participate in Operation Goody Bag. This service project serves to remember September 11th and the importance of first responders. This was Roberge School’s way to say thanks to all the people who sacrifice time away from their families…to keep our families safe.
It is the District's goal is to protect every student from pesticide exposure by using an Integrated Pest Management approach to pest management. Our IPM approach focuses on making the school buildings and grounds an unfavorable habitat for pests by removing food and water sources and eliminating hiding and breeding places. The District accomplishes this through routine cleaning and maintenance. The District routinely monitors the school building and grounds to detect if any pests are present. If pests are founds, the District's uses safe methods to remove the problem.
