A Trip to Québec

 

INTRODUCTION:

We are traveling to the beautiful province of Québec.  But before we go, we need to find out some important things about Québec. 

 

TASK:

You will “travel” to Québec via the following websites found by your teacher and find 3 things that you would like to visit/experience when you go to Québec.

 

PROCESS:

1.      Check out at least 3 websites on your own.

2.      Read about the places or things that interest you.

3.      Complete the page given to you by your teacher.

a.      Be sure to be detailed about what you are interested in so you don’t forget when your teacher asks you about it!!

 

RESOURCES:

1.      Check into the Ice Hotel and find out what if the bed is really made of ice.

2.      Find some things to do in Québec.

3.      See the sights of historic Montréal.

4.      Help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Québec Winter Festival.

5.      Find the current weather conditions in Canada.

6.      Explore different neighborhoods around Montréal.

7.      Travel around the Province of Québec!

 

EVALUATION:

Check to see if you completed the following items:

1.      I found at least 3 places/things that I would like to do upon my visit to Québec.

2.      I wrote a summary of what I want to visit and why I want to visit there.

 

CONCLUSION:

Choose one thing you really liked and enter the information into your passport to share with the class (This will be completed in French class with Mademoiselle Matz).
