Hoops for Heart Contest

“Hoops for Heart” is a fund raising event that has become a March tradition at Holdrum School.  The Physical Education Department begins the event by discussing heart health in Health and Physical Education classes.  Students have the opportunity to raise money for the American Heart Association. Holdrum School has consistently raised thousands of dollars a year for this reputable cause. Students begin competitions in free throws and jump rope challenges in their Physical Education classes. Each class champion competes for a grade level championship during the after school 3 on 3 half court basketball contest. This event is a “Super Tuesday” event in which the whole community is welcome to attend and support the American Heart Association.
