"Kick Butts Day"

Every year Holdrum School celebrates the annual "Kick Butts Day." This day is the largest, youth-led-anti-tobacco initiative in the country. Every year young people learn and find creative ways to stop the dirty habit and carry activities nation-wide. This is set up to help make kids stop smoking or never start. Many teenagers in the world today smoke. In fact, 3,000 kids start smoking each day. Now, as you can see, this is a big problem in the world today. Most kids start to smoke at the early age of 13! And the level of smoking in the teenage years has gone up dramatically since the 1980's.  So be strong, and stand up for "Kick Butts Day". You can do it!

Holdrum School will have a Kick Butts Day Bake sale.  All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
