Dear Parents and Students:

A team of teachers from Roberge School began working on a Dodge Grant Project sponsored by Montclair State University in the summer of 200l. Our team researched and purchased numerous selections from children’s literature to supplement the science curriculum. This has been an ongoing action research project: TO WHAT EXTENT DOES INCORPORATING CHILDREN’S LITERATURE INTO THE SCIENCE CURRICULUM IMPACT THE STUDENTS’ LEARNING, UNDERSTANDING OF AND DISPOSITION TOWARD SCIENCE?

Students from Roberge have become familiar with many of the books from the following bibliography. It is our hope that you and they will be further interested in finding some of these books in public libraries or book stores for your own personal use, or for addition to your home library.
