Introduction

Today we are going to learn about two special types of animals called mammals and birds.  You may already know more about mammals and birds than you think.  At the end of this WebQuest you will be able to send an email to your family telling them some things you've learned about mammals or birds.  First we need to explore what mammals and birds. We will be using Jan Brett's book "The Hat" to help us start to learn about mammals and birds. Let's put on our "Mammal and Bird Explorer Hats" to get started.
