France Web Quest
INTRODUCTION:
We are traveling to the beautiful country of France. But before we go, we need to find out some
important things about France.
TASK:
You will “travel” to France via the
following websites found by your teacher and find 3 things that you would like
to visit/experience when you go to France.
PROCESS:
- Check out at
least 3 websites on your own.
- Read about
the places or things that interest you.
- Complete the
page given to you by your teacher.
- Be sure to
be detailed about what you are interested in so you don’t forget when
your teacher asks you about it!!
RESOURCES:
- Find out
about famous painting such as the Mona Lisa and other works found
in The Louvre Museum.
- Tour the
beautiful Châteaux
of the Loire River Valley.
- Visit the
amazing Mont
St. Michel – be sure to watch for the tides!!
- Visit the
stunning château of Chambord
with over 300 chimneys and winding staircase.
- A trip to France is not
complete without visiting Versailles
and walking down the famous mirrored
hallway.
- See the Alps along the
German/Swiss border in the Alsace
region of France.
- Along the
Spanish border lie the Pyrénées
and the wonderful life of Southern France.
- Of course, Paris
is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and you must make sure to
check out this Paris Water Tour.
- Get some
facts about Paris’ most
famous landmark -- La Tour
Eiffel and other famous
landmarks.
EVALUATION:
Check to see if you completed the following items:
1.
I found at least 3 places/things that I would like to do upon my visit to France.
2.
I wrote a summary of what I want to visit
and why I want to visit there.
CONCLUSION:
Choose one thing you really liked and enter the information into your
passport to share with the class (This will be completed in French class with
Mademoiselle Matz).
