• Memorial Day Parade

    The bands from Holdrum, Roberge, and Woodside will join together to form the River Vale Schools Marching Band for the township’s Memorial Day Parade on Saturday, May 25th. Mr. Moderacki has composed a special march that the band will play as it follows the parade route from Roberge School to the Veterans Monument by the Library. The parade starts at 10 a.m.

  • Science Labs

    On Tuesday, May 14th, the Board of Education approved a bid to update the four science labs at Holdrum Middle School. The existing science labs are the original labs from when Holdrum was built in 1953. There will be no referendum or second question for such an extensive project. While the timeline will be tight, the rooms are expected to be done in time for the 2013 - 2014 the school year.

  • A.C.E. Before and After School Care

    Registration is underway for the River Vale Educational Fund - A.C.E. Program for the 2013-2014 school year. Forms are due by June 28th to be enrolled for September.   • Spring Concerts and Art Show

    The River Vale Public School District proudly announces the schedule for Spring concerts and the Annual Art Show. Students of Holdrum Middle School will perform on May 22nd at 7:00 P. M. and Roberge and Woodside School performances will be held on May 30th at 7: 00 P. M. Be sure to view the beautiful art work on display on the way to the concert!

  • School Board Candidacy Information Available

    Prospective school board candidates can obtain a “School Board Candidate Kit” at the River Vale Board Office at 609 Westwood Avenue, River Vale, New Jersey. Published by the New Jersey School Boards Association, the School Board Candidate Kit includes a nominating petition and information about legal qualifications for school board candidacy and the role of the school board member.
