Children who will be three (3) years old, but not yet five (5) years old on or before October 1st of the incoming year and who are
River Vale residents are eligible to apply.

Children who will be five (5) years of age on or before October 1st of the incoming year and who are residents of River Vale are
eligible to register for school.
Kindergarten registration opens January 1st for the new school year.
Please note: If you pre-register your child for kindergarten before January1st, your registration will be archived or lost.

Choose the form that best relates to your child's living situation.
Keep in mind, there may be additional forms to complete within the Section in some cases.

A. River Vale Residence/Domicile form: (CLICK HERE)
Student and Parent/Guardian live together in River Vale - must be completed by Parent/Guardian.
B. Affidavit A form: (CLICK HERE)
River Vale Resident when no lease exists - must be completed by Landlord.

C. Affidavit B1 and B2 forms:
If the student is living with a person other than a parent/guardian with a permanent address in River Vale. All three of the forms
must be completed for submission.

D. Affidavit C - Temporary Residency forms:
Both documents must be completed for submission.
- River Vale Residence form C (CLICK HERE) Student living with Parent/Guardian in Temporary River Vale Residency.
- Residence Affidavit C (CLICK HERE) Must be completed by the River Vale resident that is providing temporary housing.

River Vale Residency Form D must be completed by the parent/guardian when the residency situation is different
than what is outlined in A-C.

Supporting documentation is required to support residency.
All documents must have last/first name, address and current dates.
You will be required to submit these to your respective school. |

> voter registration
> vehicle registrations
> licenses
> permits
> bank statements
> utility bills
> credit card bills
> phone bills
> canceled checks (not a voided check)

After your online pre-registration is complete, you will be contacted by your school to schedule an
appointment to finalize your student registration.
At that time, you will be required to submit the registration forms, proof of residency and
support documents.
